Reviews and Ratings
I absolutely loved the hotel's location, so close to St Marks Square but still peaceful. The rooms had a large balcony, perfect for evening cocktails, but without a view, the price seems too high. The service was a bit lacking, but the staff did drive me to the train station. The dining experience was good, although deciding on room service early was tricky. Overall, a gem for feeling like a local rather than a tourist.
I stayed at a hotel that offered a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, after upgrading for a more standard size, were very nice and comfortable, despite needing some maintenance. I had a bit of a noisy view of a lady chasing yappy dogs with a broom outside. The service was excellent, with friendly and accommodating staff such as Rachel and Maddalena making my stay special. The location in Venice was wonderful, close to everything but outside the main area. The dining experience was lacking, with basic and oily options for the price. Overall, it was a decent stay with room for improvement.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the finishing touches one would need for an early transatlantic flight. The service was superb with welcoming and friendly staff, making it a truly enjoyable experience. The location was ideal, close to San Marco and offering a quiet yet convenient setting. The dining experience was satisfactory with a nice selection each morning. Overall, a comfortable and modern hotel with some minor room size issues but excellent service and location.
I've been traveling for fifty years, and I must say the room here is one of the best I've ever experienced. We initially had a small room, but for a bit extra, we upgraded to a more normal-sized room, which was very nice. There are a few areas in the room that could use some attention, like more space to hang towels or bags.
Our stay at the hotel was quite a mixed bag. Despite the fabulous room with great finishing touches and complimentary toiletries restocked daily, we had the displeasure of witnessing a rather noisy neighbor with yappy dogs in the garden. The service was excellent, professional, and focused on personal attention, but we did have to wait for two hours on one occasion. The location was fantastic for those seeking privacy and a local experience, although some may find the decor somewhat misleading. The dining options were basic, with more focus on bread than a variety of choices. Overall, a stay with highs and lows.
