I absolutely loved the hotel's location, so close to St Marks Square but still peaceful. The rooms had a large balcony, perfect for evening cocktails, but without a view, the price seems too high. The service was a bit lacking, but the staff did drive me to the train station. The dining experience was good, although deciding on room service early was tricky. Overall, a gem for feeling like a local rather than a tourist.

I've been traveling for fifty years, and I must say the room here is one of the best I've ever experienced. We initially had a small room, but for a bit extra, we upgraded to a more normal-sized room, which was very nice.
